Morris S. Graham Jr., age 71 of Stanwood, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, February 18, 2017 while in Florida. He was born December 28, 1945 the son of Morris Sr., and Bertha (Lovelace) Graham. Morris owned and operated the Buffalo Inn in Stanwood for many years. He also worked as a contractor with a talent for woodworking and making cabinetry. He loved his dog Clyde, a beagle and constant companion. Morris enjoyed gardening and working with his fruit trees, they were his passion. He also liked cooking for his family and friends. He was a skilled winemaker and enjoyed sharing with everyone. Family was most important to Morris and he was the rock that kept the family close. He will be forever loved and missed by those who survive including; his five children, Kimberly (Ed) Kramer, Pamela (Mike) Wells all of White Cloud, Heidi (Todd) Erb, Bertha Graham, Morris Graham III all of Stanwood; 12 grandchildren, Tara VanRijs, Kristina Hodges, Zachary Stout, Alex Stout, Logan Wells, Cody Erb, Michael Rizor, Katie Smith, Gloria Smith, Catherine Graham, Nichole Graham, Morris Graham IV; six great-grandchildren; a brother, George (Mary Ann) Graham of Cedar Springs; a sister, Mary (Tom) Komer of Jenison and many nieces and nephews. Morris was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 48 years, Gloria Graham, who passed in 2013; a daughter, Shelly Graham; two sisters, Shirley Graham and Maureen Magoon. A memorial service for Morris will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2017 at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids.
