Minnie Lou Connolly of Canadian Lakes, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at her home. She celebrated her 100thbirthday, November 20, 2017. Minnie was welcomed into her heavenly home by her husband Leonard; two brothers, Joseph and Robert; a sister LanEll and a host of other family and friends.

She was born in Wingo, Kentucky to Frances and Nellie (Taylor) Barnes. Minnie married Leonard T. Connolly on August 30, 1941. They had two children, Lynn Diane (John) Tatsak of Canadian Lakes, Dennis (Barbara) Connolly of Seneca, SC; four grand-daughters, eight great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Marjorie VanJaarsveld of Henderson, NC and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Minnie and Leonard resided in Pompano Beach, FL until Leonards death in 2006. She then moved to Canadian Lakes to live with her daughter and son-in-law for 9 years before making her home at The Brook in Big Rapids. Her Michigan family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at The Brook for their loving care.

Cremation has taken place. A private memorial service is being planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to W.I.S.E of Big Rapids or Hillside Baptist Church in Big Rapids.
