Mikkel D. Larsen passed away at his home on May 5, 2026. He was born on September 11, 1949 in Reed City, Michigan to Donald and Anna (Addington) Larsen. He married the love of his life Charlene Gydesen on June 22, 1968. They shared 57 wonderful years together.

Mike was a classic car enthusiast. He loved attending car shows, and was always building and tinkering out in the garage. He loved a challenge when it came to rebuilding old cars. He was truly a jack of all trades, and could turn a pile of random parts into a running automobile in no time. Mike was also talented in the carpenter business, and with strong, loving hands built all of the Larsen family homes. He was also a proud lifetime member of the Big Rapids Eagles.

Mike is survived by his loving wife, Charlene; their two son's, Don (Shana), and Dale Larsen; sister, Chris Miller, and his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parent's; two brothers, Richard and Rex; and sister, Patricia Willett.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 1:00 PM at The Eagles of Big Rapids.
