Michael J. Trzuskot age 64 of Canadian Lakes formerly Dearborn passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 25, 2010. He was born on December 18, 1945 in Dearborn, MI to Joseph and Angeline (Swiantek) Trzuskot. In January of 1964 he graduated from Fordson High School. Mike married Judy M. Lowery of Dearborn on October 14, 1967 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Dearborn where they made their home. Mike was employed as a mechanic for the City of Dearborn for over 30 years. Upon retirement in April of 2004 they moved to their current home in Canadian Lakes. Mike was passionate about automobiles both new and old and looked forward to the yearly car shows at St. Ignace and Frankenmuth. He was the proud owner of the 78' Corvette and bought an 88' Corvette new. Together with family and friends they enjoyed traveling and had 7 great trips to Hawaii. Mike was laid back, quiet and fun loving. He was a cancer survivor and had a strong character. Mike is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years Judy of Canadian Lakes, his sister-in-law HelenAnn Hypnar of Caledonia, nephew Jeffery (Christina) Hypnar, niece Christine (Mike) Stoliecki, childhood friends Nancy (the late Richard) Maciejewski, he was a God parent to Kerri, Kim, Kevin, Randy, Scotty and nephew Jeffrey Hypnar. Mike was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Angeline. Memorial donations in Mike's name can be made to the Michigan Cancer Foundation. Service for Mike will take place on Sunday, March 28, 2009 at 4PM with the family greeting friends two hours prior from 2PM to 4PM at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids.
