Michael Joseph Glegola, 28, passed away in Big Rapids on February 6, 2026. He was born in Detroit on May 8, 1997 to Edward Joseph Glegola Jr. and Tricia Saladin (Glegola).

Michael enjoyed learning about computers, reading philosophical books and playing video games. After graduation from Redford Union High School, he studied computer science at Grand Rapids Community College where he earned an associate's degree; he was quite tech-savvy. His dog, Sarah, was a bright light in his life. Michael was very active and could often be found running or working out at Planet Fitness. He enjoyed talking about and working on cars and trucks. Michael was a very kind and extremely honest person who cared deeply for his family and friends.

Michael is survived by both parents; sisters: Kailtlin Ann Glegola and Emily Elizabeth Glegola; Stepmother (Ma): Elizabeth Glegola; brothers: Robert and Kenneth Vadnais and grandparents: Michael and Patricia Saladin.

Arrangements are in the care of Daggett Gilbert Funeral Homes, Big Rapids. A celebration of Michael's life will be held at 242 Community Church on 5 mile Rd in Livonia Michigan on Saturday February 21st 2026 at 11:00 am. Flowers may be sent to the church at 35475 5 Mile Rd, Livonia, MI 48154.
