Max Clay Szynkowski, age 20 of Morley, passed away tragically Tuesday, November 20, 2018 due to injuries sustained from a car accident. He was born August 20, 1998 in Grand Rapids, the son of Robert and Lisa (Sebright) Szynkowski. Max was a 2016 graduate from Morley Stanwood High School where he participated in the drama club. Max was a devoted member of Resurrection Life Church in Big Rapids. He was on the Praise and Worship Team at the church, playing the guitar and base guitar. He had a passion for music; he was learning to play the drums and keyboard and was working on composing his own music. Max liked gaming, camping, hiking, going to concerts, and spending time with his friends. He is survived by his parents Robert and Lisa and his sister Grace, all of Morley; girlfriend, Danielle Jankowski of Stanwood; paternal grandmother, Patricia Szynkowski of Howard City; maternal grandmother, Paula Sebright of Hopkins; maternal grandfather David (Rose) Sebright of Hopkins; as well as his aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Max was preceded in death by his grandfather Stephen Szynkowski and uncle Clay Sebright. Funeral services will take place 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at Resurrection Life Church in Big Rapids with Pastor Ross Scheer officiating. The family will greet friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 26th at Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids and also one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the Church.
