Mary K. Edgerly-Gillespie, age 53, of Morley passed away Thursday, July 24, 2008 at her home. She was born September 25, 1954 in Big Rapids to Max and Meriem (Blanchard) Edgerly. Mary married David A. Gillespie on December 31, 2002 in Morley. She received her Masters Degree from Ferris State University. Mary has been employed as a teacher at Ferris State University since 1986. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Morley, the American Health Information Management Association, Michigan Health Information Management Association, Southwest Health Information Management Association, and Michigan Education Association. Mary is survived by her loving husband, David; three brothers, Jack Adel Edgerly of Canoga Park, CA, Michael James Edgerly of Bellevue, WA, and Gregory Lee (Marilyn) Edgerly of Port St. Lucie, FL; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Allen Edgerly. A memorial service will take place 11:00 a.m., Monday, July 28th at the First Baptist Church in Morley with Pastor Steve Finn officiating. The family will greet friends on Sunday, July 27th at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Interment will be at Aetna Township Cemetery in Morley.
