Mary L. Fredenburg, age 68 of Big Rapids, formerly of White Cloud passed away, Monday, November 23, 2009 at her home. She was born December 19, 1940 to William and Maryellen (Passmore) Francis in Lowell, Mich. Mary graduated from Big Rapids High School and made her home in the White Cloud area for many years before moving back to Big Rapids. She enjoyed collecting owls and watching old movies. Mary adored her family and is survived by her loving children; Bruce (Charlotte) Kuhns of Big Rapids, Bonnie (Earl) Reid of Paris and Tammy Kuhns of Big Rapids, beloved siblings, Margaret (George) Tyler, Rosemary Peterson, James (Jerry) Francis, Don Francis, Tom Francis; sister-in-law, Frances Francis and several nieces and nephews. Mary's eleven grandchildren brought numerous hours of joy to her life and will miss her deeply. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, infant son Todd and twin sister, Mildred Tarrow and brother, William "Bill" Francis. A mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Big Rapids with Father Lam T. Le officiating. Interment will be at 2:00 PM Saturday at Woodville Cemetery. The family will greet friends on Friday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a scripture service beginning at 7:30 PM at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids.
