Marvel Ida Sanger, of Barryton; known to most as Moe, Grandma Moe or Aunt Moe, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 26, 2016 in Grand Rapids at the age of 67. She was born on July 4, 1949 to Oscar and Gertrude (Myers) Woodbury. Moe is survived by her loving family that includes: children, Stacey (Melanie) Day-Hazen of Mt. Pleasant and Steven (Connie) Day of Barryton; six grandchildren who she loved spending time with, Steven Day Jr., Stephanie (Darrell Draher) Day; Samuel Day, Lanette (Christopher) Jamieson, Maggie Blevens and Ethen Blevens; great-grandchildren, Hannah, Keigan, Carson and Isabell; brothers, Leroy (Faith) Woodbury of Barryton, Glen (Jean) Woodbury of Sherman City, David (Betty) Woodbury of Barryton; a sister, Marcia (Louis Johnson) of Barryton; Moes partner for over 20 years, Dale Johnson of Barryton; seven nieces, five nephews and many extended family and endeared friends.
Moe was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Troy Sanger in 1994.
A celebration of life will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the Barryton Community Building with a bonfire to follow at Steves house.
Memorial donations in Moes name can be made to Spectrum Health Hospice.
