Martha Ellen Bennett, age 73, died peacefully Sunday, May 15, 2022 in Big Rapids. She was born January 1, 1949 in Pikeville, Tennessee, the daughter of Estel and Charlotte (Cox) Creason. One of Ellens greatest passions in life was raising her milk goats while she lived in Pikeville, TN. She enjoyed reading and bird watching, often naming the type of birds. Ellen relocated to Tustin, MI in 2017 to be with her partner Dave. She loved spending time with him and his family. She is survived by her beloved partner of five years, Dave Whayne of Tustin, MI; mother, Charlotte Creason of Dunlap, TN; sister, Anita Gifford of Pikeville, TN; step-daughter, Brandy (Dennis) Geiger of Brooklyn, MI; three grandchildren; and a few nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; brothers, Timmie and Delmar Creason. Arrangements entrusted to the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids.
