Mark D. Pischel age 53, passed away unexpectedly Friday, July 30, 2021 at his home in Big Rapids. He was born August 5, 1967 in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, the son of Francis and Ornella (Albieri) Pischel. Mark was a talented Master Mechanic. He was the one people would call with questions on engines and motors, he knew it all. Mark was employed by Marco Chrysler for many years earning the title Chrysler Five Star Certified Master Mechanic. He later owned and operated Ride On, a snowmobile and atv repair shop. Mark enjoyed being outdoors; especially fishing, snowmobiling, and boating. He liked to watch his boys play hockey and soccer. Mark is survived by his three sons, Nicholas and Brayden Pischel both at home in Big Rapids, and Christopher Rowen of Arizona; his mother, Ornella Pischel of Chippewa Lake; brother, Larry (Alyssa) Pischel of Montague; granddaughter, Jayden Rowen; and nieces, Michelle (Danny Droddy) Pischel and Kara (Hunter Van) Freel. He was preceded in death by his father and infant son, Angel Anderson Pischel. A private family service will be held at a later date.
