Marjean L. Kelley, age 75 of Morley, passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at her home with her family by her side. She was born March 4, 1943 in Greenville, the daughter of Louis and Marge (Hatch) Steffensen. Marjean was a 1962 graduate of Greenville High School. She married Kenneth Kelley on January 15, 1966; together they made their home and raised their family in Gowen, Colorado, and Iowa before returning to Morley. Marjean and Ken owned and operated a successful dairy goat farm for over 15 years. The farm was her passion; she also made goat cheese and goat butter. Marjean also enjoyed being out in the field bailing hay with Ken. She was always willing to help; Marjean would offer babies goat milk when they had stomach issues, she made and donated hats to Morley Stanwood schools, and she would let people live with her until they were able to get back on their feet. Marjean is survived by her two daughters, Dawn (Greg) Colbert and Connie (Scott) Ripley, both of Morley; six grandchildren, Katherine, Anna, Megan, Tristan, Jacob, and Austin; one brother, Marvin (Joyce) Steffensen of Gowen; several nieces and nephews, and many extended family members and friends, including Mary Claypool and her son David. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Ken on February 14, 2011. A memorial service will take place on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Luther Bible Chapel.
