Marilyn Kay Fisher, age 70, passed away at her home in Stanwood, MI on Sunday, August 23, 2015. She was born in Grand Rapids, MI on July 10, 1945. Marilyn is survived by her husband Joseph Burton Fisher, her daughter and family Pam and Donnie Rubel, her son and family Scott and Kelly Matuk, and her son and family Lance and Priscilla Fisher. Marilyn leaves behind many grandchildren and one great-grandson. She was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Scott Maxwell. A memorial service will take place 12:00 p.m. (noon) Friday, August 28, 2015 at New Hope United Methodist Church in Mecosta, MI with Pastor Greg Buchner officiating. The family will greet friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time service begins at 12:00 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Marilyn's name to New Hope United Methodist Church or Spectrum Health Hospice.
