Maribel Dings, age 80 of Baldwin, passed away Monday, October 22, 2018. She was born September 22, 1938 in Cass County, the daughter of Hubert and Georgianna (Antisedel) Benson. Maribel enjoyed volunteering in her community; especially with the Lake County Habitat for Humanity, Special Olympics, and the VFW Post 5315. She is survived by four children, James (Kelly) Dumaine of Idlewild, Martin (Tina) Personette of Branch, Georgianna (Richard) Pontz of Big Rapids, and Angel Jennett of Rodney; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Robert Benson of Minnesota, Carson Kosier of Ohio, and Donald Kosier of Ohio; one sister, Fern Morse of Arizona; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Michael Benson and Larry Benson, and a daughter Patsy Sue Dings. Memorial contributions may be made in Maribels memory to the Lake County Special Olympics. Cremation and care entrusted to the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids.
