Margaret Ann "Peggy" Ghareeb, (nee Fairbrother), 89, was taken home to our Savior on Saturday November 4, 2017. Peg will be met by her husband Fred, daughter Pam, parents Maynard and Alida, brother Maynard (Sonny), sister Barbara (Vader) Ludy, and grandson Bruce Parks. She is survived by her children Jerry Osmolinski, Karen (James) Braun, & Bob (Deb) Ghareeb, 10 grandchildren, many great, and great-great grandchildren, Sisters Bernice Bonner, Norma VandenBrink, Doris Lafata, Marlene (Bill) Walker, brother Dave, and brother in-law Jake Ludy, special niece and nephew Linda (Mel) Basch, many nieces and nephews, and many very special friends. Peg moved to Lake Mecosta after retiring and serving over 25 years at LSI Credit Union. She enjoyed, making quilts, teaching a quilting class, cooking, playing cards with friends, and being on the lake watching nature out her front windows. After retiring, she found much enjoyment and truly enjoyed her membership, the friendship of fellow parishioners, and volunteering at Chapel of the Lakes Lutheran Church. She served as treasurer of the Dorcas Guild (Ladys group) from October 2001 to October 2004. Visitation with the family at Chapel of the Lakes Lutheran Church, 9407 90th Ave, Mecosta, MI, will be Tuesday, November 7, from 10:00-11:00 am, followed by funeral services at 11:00 am.
