Margaret L. Carroll age 76 of Barryton passed away at her home Friday, January 26, 2007. She was born June 17, 1930 to Alfred and Margaret (Decatur) Hawkins in Evart, Michigan. Margaret married Noble "Bob" Carroll on September 20, 1947 at the Barryton Church of God. She was a caretaker and retired from the State Home in Mt. Pleasant. Margaret enjoyed watching deer, making crafts and loved to fish. Margaret loved her family and treasured the time she got to spend with them. Margaret is survived by her loving husband of 59 years Bob Carroll,children; Marshall (Alicia) Carroll of Barryton, Steven (Shari) Carroll of Barryton and Jane (Carl) Domke of Harrison, two sisters: Mary (Wendel) MacDonald of Fla. and Ellen (Conrad) Baker of Mt. Morris, twelve grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and one great great grandson. Mrs. Carroll was preceded in death by her parents, brothers; Alfred, Paul, Edward and infant brothers; Robert and Ralph. The family will greet friends Saturday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Barryton Church of God.
