Marcus "Shorty" Riedinger, age 85 of Paris, formerly of Hart passed away Friday, October 1, 2010. He was born March 18, 1925 in Judson, North Dakota the son of Walter and Cecelia (Braun) Riedinger. Shorty was honorably discharged from the United States Army serving during World War II. He worked in the construction industry most of his life. He is survived by 3 sons; Walter (Michelle) Riedinger of Hart, W. Eric (Carmen) Reidinger of Paris, Marcus "Tony" Riedinger of St. Louis; many grandchildren and other family members. Besides his parents, Shorty was preceded in death by his wife Carol, a son Arland Riedinger and several siblings. A private memorial service is being planned for a later date.
