Obituary

Malcolm (Max) Sibole, 88, passed away in his sleep at home on 24 October 2018, in Elizabethtown, KY. He was born January 20, 1930 to Malcolm E. Sibole and Ruth Lyons in Newcomerstown, Ohio. On September 12, 1953 he married Florence Hill in Dearborn, MI. Malcolm enjoyed hunting, fishing and farming. He was an Army Veteran who served during the Korean War and was stationed in Germany. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, grandparents and one grandson, Johnny Hamilton. Survivors include his 6 children; his 2 sons, Max (Val) Sibole of Grosse Ile, MI, Chris (Suzanne) Sibole of Bernalillo, NM, his 4 daughters, Chella (Ken) Prater, Woodhaven, MI, Dorothy (Ken) Kowalczyk, New Hudson, MI, Ruth Lions, and Mary (Don) Conover, Elizabethtown, KY; 16 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 2 brothers, Jack Welch of Newcomerstown, OH and Michael Sibole of Chicago, IL. Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 27, 2018 from 4:00p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Nelson-Edelen-Bennett Funeral Home in Radcliff, KY and on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 from 11:00 a.m.until 1:00 p.m. at Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids, MI with service to follow immediately. Burial will be at Martiny Township Cemetery.
