Mabel Gertrude Thompson, age 78 of Sears, MI, passed away at her home on Thursday, September 20, 2012 in the presence of her family. Mabel was born on September 9, 1934 in Richland Center, Wisconsin to Clifford and Evelyn (Terwilliger) Copernoll. Mabel enjoyed sewing, quilting, embroidering and baking. Mabel is survived by three children; Orville R. (Tena) Hill Jr. of Roscoe, IL, Patricia "Pat" Westfall of Beloit, WI and Clifford "Sonny" (Littisha) Hill of Sears, MI; one brother, Charles Coppernoll of Blue River, WI; 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mabel was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Evelyn; husbands, Orville E. Hill and Robert Thompson and three brothers, Jack, Ralph and Billy. Memorials in Mabel's name can be made to Hospice of Michigan. Cremation has taken place. A graveside memorial service for Mabel will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 20, 2012 at the Muscoda Public Cemetery, Muscoda, WI.
