Lucinda "Cindi" Mae Harvey, age 70 of Remus, went home to be with the Lord, on Saturday, May 23, 2015 in Big Rapids. She was born on October 31, 1944 in Grand Rapids, MI. Cindi was the daughter of Floyd and Ollie (Erbes) Riggs and graduated from Evart High School. Cindi resided in the Remus area and enjoyed 50's and 60's music, dancing, spending time at the Mecosta Senior Center, going to the fair, and trips to Vegas. When she was younger she was an avid bowler in Barryton and Clare. Cindi was a talented painter and made signs for various businesses in the area. She had exquisite penmanship and her ornate beaded ornaments, jewelry and other crafts will be treasured by the family and friends who own them. Cindi loved and is loved greatly by the family she leaves behind, Husband Ronald; three daughters, Tami (Brad) Decker, Lory Fate and Diana Person all of Blanchard; eleven grandchildren, Sabra, Joshua (Brittany), Lucas (Cristen), Sarah, Gabriel, Robi, Cassie Mae, Geoffrey, Zachary, Kerianna and Gavin; eight great-grandchildren, Kaiser, Kylie, Mason, Gage, Blake, William, Aiden and Aloura Mae; and many step and extended family members and friends who knew Cindi as "mom". Cindi is welcomed home by her Lord and Savior, her Parents, her Sister Roni Rice, her Grandson Dakota Decker and many more relatives and friends. A celebration of Cindi's life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at the Millbrook Free Methodist Church (5751 7th Street) with Pastor Patricia Tefft officiating. The family will greet friends on Saturday two hours prior to the service from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the church. In honor of her compassion for animals, contributions in Cindi's name can be made to A.S.P.C.A (Animal Rescue).
