Lovina M. Haney age 93 of Barryton went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, October 2, 2007 at her daughter's home with loved ones at her side. She was born February 4, 1914 to Glenn and Viola (Ranshaw) Bell. She married the late Henry N. Haney January 21, 1942 and they raised their family in Barryton. At age 52 Lovina entered the work force as a custodian at Ferris State University retiring in 1981. She enjoyed crocheting avidly blessing her family with afaghans, doilies, slippers etc. She was a seamstress and enjoyed needle work. Starting in her teens she taught Sunday school classes for about 23 years at the Barryton Church of Christ where she was a lifelong member. Lovina is survived by six loving children: Luella (Lee) Dockham of Barryton Wanda (Wesley) Esch of Remus Michaelene (Larry) Tribe of Bath "Neil" (Eathel) Haney of Saginaw Gail (William) Johnson of Remus Kevin (Gwen) Haney of Remus 25 Grandchildren, 50 great grandchildren and 22 great great grandchildren. Beloved extended family member David (Ruth) Haney, caregiver and friend Pat Whitt and many nieces and nephews who will continue to hold her close to their hearts. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years Henry in 1983 and a brother Perry W. Bell. Funeral services will take place 12:00 p.m. (Noon) Saturday, October 6, 2007 at the Barryton Church of Christ with Pastor Kim Huffman officiating. Interment will be at East Fork Cemetery. The family will greet friends at the Barryton Church of Christ (18221 30th Ave., M66) Friday, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to Saturday's service. Memorial contributions in Lovina's name may be made to the Church of Christ.
