Louise L. Kolasa, a resident of Chippewa Lake for the last 27 years, passed away Monday, May 26, 2008 in Big Rapids at the age of 87. She was born May 15, 1921 in Grand Rapids to Joseph and Mary (Liskiewitz) Lanski. She married Robert C. Kolasa in Grand Rapids on November 29, 194l. Louise attended St. Paul's Campus Parish. Louise is survived by: a son, Robert (his friend, Robin) of Mason, MI A daughter, Diane (Robert) Myers of The Villages, FL A brother, Joseph R. (Bobbi) Landis of East Lansing A sister, Lorraine (Harry) Sutter of Grand Rapids 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews Beside her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 1988 and a daughter, Janice Reedy. A memorial mass will take place 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday (Today), May 28 at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton with Father Lam T. Le officiating. Memorial contributions in Louise's name may be given to Hospice of Michigan.
