Louise Ann "Lou Ann" Howard, 59 of Remus, the daughter of the late Lester and Betty (Whitney) Howard of Remus; sister of Bryan (Priscilla Thompson), Paula (Mike Brecht), James, Donald (Sherry) and Doris (Susan Fewless) Howard; aunt, niece, cousin and close friend to many passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2017. She was born on May 5, 1958 in Pontiac, Michigan and graduated from Chippewa Hills High School in 1976.

Lou Ann worked alongside her dad at Howards Dairy Systems for several years before moving to Lansing where she was employed at Central Dairy. She then moved back to the family farm, that she was proud of, in 2011 where she enjoyed feeding and watching the birds, reading, watching westerns and helping people in need. When Lou Ann was able she looked forward to snowshoeing, walks in the woods, fishing, camping, campfires, going to the family cabin, and volunteering for causes. She loved Jesus and her dogs, especially Louis, who she brought back to life when he was stillborn.

A celebration of life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at the Victory Church, 2445 S. Lincoln Rd., Mt. Pleasant, MI, where she currently attended. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
