On May 11, 2018 Heaven brought home an angel, Lois Louise (Lucas) Spencer. Lois was born on June 29 1928 in Milford Michigan to the late Frank and Essie (Proctor) Lucas.

Lois is survived by her husband, Mirl Spencer of Mecosta; children Richard Alday of Flint, Betty Barry of Highland, Margaret (Marvin) Herman of Fenton, and Patricia Barry of Perrysburg, OH; sisters Essie Lucas Dowler of Milford, and Corrine Woodward of Highland Township. Lois is the proud grandmother to Andrew, Lauren, and Taylor Herman, and great-grandmother to Nora, Ethan, and Rose Herman. Lois is preceded in death by her daughter Diana Barry, sister Shirley Metcalf, and brothers Frank and Jack Lucas.

A memorial service for Lois will be held 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 14550 30th Ave., Remus Michigan 49340.

Memorial contributions in Lois's name may be made to the Mecosta County Commission on Aging, 12954 80th Ave., Mecosta MI 49332 or Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, 21291 17 Mile Road, Big Rapids MI.
