IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Lloyd R.
Berry
December 4, 1932 – October 5, 2025
Lloyd R. Berry, of White Cloud, passed away peacefully at the age of 92 on October 5, 2025. He was born on December 4, 1932 in Grand Rapids to Loyd and Edith (Brooks) Berry. He was lovingly known as "Buck" and "Roger" to many.
As a young man, Buck served four years in the Air Force during the Korean War, where he was tasked with setting up M.A.S.H. units in England. When he wasn't working, Buck was a star on the unit's softball team. He also spent time in the Naval Reserve, based in Grand Rapids. After his honorable discharge, Buck spent much of his life staying active and spending time outdoors. He enjoyed sports like golf and bowling, but his heart was always with hunting and fishing; Lloyd scored his final buck just two days before his passing. Buck was proud to be part of the Ironworkers Local 340 Union for many years. He never missed coffee and breakfast with his good friends at The Cottage on M-37.
Buck is survived by his children: Timothy (Kathy) Berry, Joe (Theresa) Berry, Kevin (Linda) Berry, Shaw (Terra) Berry, and Tammy; his furry friend and "youngest child"; Buster the dog; as well as multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
All six of Buck's siblings passed on before him. He is also preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marilyn; his son, Terry; and his grandson, Jonathan.
