Lisa C. Dulyea (Gerber), age 37 of Barryton, MI, formerly of Paddock Lake, WI, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 in Grand Rapids. She was born on March 16, 1978 in Burlington, WI to Jack and Karen (Olson) Gerber. Lisa graduated from Westosha Central High School in 1996 and enlisted into the United States Army. She was honorably discharged from the Army in 1997 and was proud to have served. Lisa loved the outdoors and looked forward to hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, going to the beach and the enjoyment of animals. She was good at drawing, coloring and writing. When it came to movies, a Disney movie was her favorite and she always saved time to wrestle with her boys. Lisa and Tim spent time volunteering at Gods Helping Hands at Westosha Lakes Church in Paddock Lake, WI. Recently she had been attending New Hope United Methodist Church in Mecosta, MI. Lisa married Timothy S. Dulyea on July 25, 2015 and they made their home in Barryton, MI where they resided with her two sons, Lane and Johnathan Myers. Lisas parents Jack and Karen Gerber; two brothers, Shane (Michelle) and Tory Gerber; niece Chelsea and nephew Christopher all of Paddock Lake; maternal grandmother Fern Howell; Tims children, Timothy II of Grand Rapids, MI, Devin of Carson City, MI and Rose Dulyea of Evart; 8 grandchildren, that she treasured: Aiden, Karia, Donte, Morgan, Blake, Ryan, Jace and Jax; and many aunts, uncles, and friends who survive Lisa, will continue to hold the memories they have close to their hearts. Lisa was preceded in death by her grandparents, Elmer (Ruth) Gerber and Fred Olson. A celebration of Lisas life will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 28, 2015 at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton, MI, concluding with a short reflection of Lisas life and military honors at 3:00 p.m. Memorial donations in Lisas name can be made to the D.A.V.
