Linda Lou Showers, age 83, passed away unexpectedly on February 13, 2026. The daughter of Eldon and Eleanor (Adams) London, she was born on October 22, 1942.

Linda loved many things in life. Cooking and baking delicious meals and desserts for her family and friends, dancing, and fishing at the river to name a few. Tending to her flowers and her garden brought her great joy, but the thing she enjoyed most in her life was taking care of other people. Her kind heart and never wavering love will always be remembered and cherished.

Linda is survived by her loving husband of 26 years, James "Jim" Showers; her children: Sandra (Monty) Tomlinson, Ronda (Rick) Lessley, and John (Colly) Fredrick; Grandchildren: Toni, Andy, David, Lauren, Kyle, and Ryan; and many loved great grandchildren; and her sisters: Karen and Priscilla.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister Patricia and brother Kevin.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Daggett Gilbert Funeral Homes of Big Rapids, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. A Visitation will take place on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 where the family will greet friends and family from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Linda's name to No More Sidelines of Muskegon. Linda will be laid to rest at Chippewa Lake Cemetery.
