Linda L. Foreman age 73, of Barryton passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, March 18, 2012 in Mt. Pleasant at McClaren Central Michigan Hospital. Linda was born on August 3, 1938 in Midland Co., MI to Douglas and Elvah (Schultz) Sasse Sr. On September 6, 1958 Linda married Donald A. Foreman in Coleman. In 1960 the couple made their home in Barryton where they raised their daughters and have resided ever since. Linda had a Bachelors of Science in education and enjoyed teaching elementary education at Barryton Elementary for 20 years. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church in Barryton where she participated in the choir, bells and U.M.W. Linda was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, took pleasure in gardening and watching her grandchildrens' activities. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 53 years Don of Barryton and three daughters: Sara (Jim) Hendershot of Marshall, Sue Temple of Arlington, VA and Sally (Craig) Schafer of Big Rapids; five beloved grandchildren whom she adored, Maegan and Jordan Hendershot, Ty, Kylie and Cade Schafer; one brother Douglas (Kathy) Sasse Jr. of Punta Gorda, FL, two sisters Bonnie (Tom) Spencer of Coleman and Patricia (Don) Coleman of Hartland and many nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, March 21st from 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton. Funeral services for Linda will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 22, 2012 at the funeral home with Pastor Joseph Beavan officiating. Interment will be at Flake Cemetery in Barryton. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Linda's name will be directed to the purchase of books for the school library at Barryton Elementary.
