Lee Martin Lemerand, 75, of Chippewa Lake, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024. He was born on July 5, 1949, in Tecumseh, Michigan, to Dale and Vera (Pennington) Lemerand. Lee proudly served his country as a radio operator in the United States Army 101st Airborne Division. After his military service, he began a career at General Motors, where he worked for over 30 years before retiring. Lee was deeply devoted to his faith and played an active role in the Chippewa Lake Community Church, where he served as a deacon and volunteered continuously at various community events. Known for his generosity and kind spirit, Lee was always ready to lend a hand and could make friends wherever he went. A "Jack of all trades," he had a passion for helping others and enjoyed the fellowship of a social life. Above all, he cherished his family, especially his beloved grandchildren. He is survived by his daughters, Adena (Mark) Raine and Lisa (Don) Guernsey; his grandchildren, Katlyn, Kiara, Andrew, Raven, Donny, and Griffin; and his brother, Dave Lemerand. Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Vera Lemerand, and his brother, Ron Lemerand. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, 12:00 noon at Chippewa Lake Community Church, 10490 Lake Street, Chippewa Lake, Michigan, 49320. The family will receive guests from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Memorial Contributions may be made according to Chippewa Lake Community Church: Food Truck Ministry.
