Lawrence Lee Martin, 95, of Harrison, Michigan, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 18, 2025.

He was born on March 29, 1930, in Lansing, the son of Frank and Mona Mae (Dennison) Martin. On July 29, 1949, he was united in marriage to his childhood neighbor and sweetheart, Margie Rowe. Their love story blossomed into a beautiful life together, rooted in devotion and lasting for more than 75 years.

Lawrence worked for Oldsmobile in Lansing, where he was employed until his retirement in 1980. After retiring, he and Margie relocated to Arkansas, where they enjoyed the warmth of southern living. Lawrence was an avid fisherman and hunter and loved attending bluegrass festivals. A man of deep faith, he was also very active in his church community, where he and Margie formed many lifelong friendships.

He is survived by his loving wife of 75 years: Margie Martin; children: Kathy (John) Ingram, Mary Lue (Jerry) Hayes, and Frank Martin He also leaves behind 14 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

Lawrence was preceded in death by his children: Judith Robinson and Lawrence Martin; sisters: June Wilson, Joyce Braun, and Betty Martin.
