Larry A. Ranshaw, age 56 of Remus, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 with his family at his side. He was born on March 13, 1962 in Lansing to Duane and Martha (Kelly) Ranshaw. Larry graduated from Perry High School. On January 16, 1988 he married Richelle Wright in Lansing and they made their home in Shaftsburg, MI until moving to Remus in 1990. Larry was an outdoorsman and was looking forward to his last rifle season. Larrys love for fishing, hunting and camping was passed on to his children. He was a jokester and was known to talk your ear off if you let him. Larrys volleyball skills will not be forgotten by the family and loved ones he leaves behind, they include: his loving wife of 30 years Richelle; three children, Violet (Steve) Kramer of Hastings, Larry Ranshaw II and Tonya Ranshaw both of Remus; three grandchildren, Gracie, Wyatt and Ava; his father, Duane of Remus; one sister, Nancy (Curt) Copelin of Woodland; his mother-in-law, Violet Wright of Bath and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends. Larry was preceded in death by his mother Martha; sister, Margie; a brother, Mark Ranshaw and father-in-law, Robert Wright. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 19th at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton. The family will greet friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
