Kristin Louise Spires, age 21 of Barryton, never came home the day of May 16, 2010. She was found by her devoted family after exhausting efforts on Sunday, April 17, 2011 in Austin Twp., Big Rapids, MI. Kristin's story and her loss of life, has touched the hearts of many. She was born on June 30, 1989 in Clare, Michigan to Lloyd "Richard" and Arlyn "Lyn" (Jennings) Spires. Kristin was raised in the Barryton area for the majority of her life. She graduated from Chippewa Hills High School in 2008 where she had many friends. Kristin was adventurous, enjoyed art, Tigger and Pooh. There were not many days that would go by with out frequent conversations via the internet or texting to her cousins and friends. She loved her family and the support it brought her. Kristin is survived by her loving family: father, Lloyd "Richard" (Carolyn) Spires of Barryton; mother, Arlyn "Lyn" Arquette of Louisa, KY; sister, Kellee Jennings of Louisa, KY; paternal grand mother, Sherry Cox of Barryton, beloved dog Zoey, close friend Tara Fluty and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends. Kristin now joins her paternal grandfather Lloyd Spires; maternal grandparents, Donna (Dennis) Carr; stepfather, John Arquette and cousin, Kaiden Gorton in eternal rest. Services for Kristin will be held 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 30, 2011 at the Barryton Church of God with visitation one hour prior. The family will greet friends on Friday, April 29, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton. Kristin's final resting place will be at Flake Cemetery in Barryton. Memorial donations in Kristin's name will go towards services.
