Kimberly "Kim" M. Freas, age 55 of Morley, passed away Tuesday, October 11, 2022. She always showed courage and strength. Kim was determined until the end to fight whatever was put in her path. She was born in Grand Rapids on October 31, 1966, the daughter of the late Edward Sr. and June (Vodry) Gaunt. Kim was a graduate from Godwin Heights High School and earned her Cosmetology License. Kim was employed by VanderHyde Ford for most of her working life. She enjoyed road trips and looking for Petoskey stones. Kim was known for the lasting impressions she made on the people around her. She could also be stubborn but caring to no end. Kim was an amazing soul even when facing many obstacles. She devoted her time and efforts to rescuing and rehoming animals; as she would do anything to care for animals and wanted to make a difference. Kims pride and joys were her grandchildren. She was the best grandmother and mother she could be. Kim is survived by her husband, Jonathon Lambrix of Morley; five children, Shantelle (Bill) Winter of Morley, Torey (Britiany Balsis) Freas of Grand Rapids, Kyle Freas of Grand Rapids, Jonathon Lambrix of Reed City, and Skylynn Lambrix of Reed City; seven grandchildren, Alexis, Ava, Kennedy, William, Kaden, Ian, and Paxton; great-grandson, Hudson; two siblings, Denise (Greg) VanLangen of Cedar Springs and Ed (Kathy) Gaunt of Middleville; and several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held for Kim at 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday, October 28, 2022 at Stanwood Eagles.
