Kimberlee "Kim" Willoughby, age 55, passed away Sunday, December 10, 2023 at her home in Canadian Lakes. She was born June 9, 1968 in Harvey, Illinois, the daughter of Douglas and Laura (Lillvik) Benson. Kim met the love of her life Daniel Willoughby at Air Force basic training and they married November 22, 1989 in Dayton, Ohio. Kim earned her Master of Business Administration degree from Saginaw Valley State University. She was very artistic and applied her skills to decorating her home and working with stained glass. Kim enjoyed cooking, shopping and traveling. She was an avid gardener and a lover of all animals. Kim was quick witted, kind and thoughtful to all she cared about. She will missed by all who loved her. She is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years, Dan of Canadian Lakes; mother, Laura Anderson of Tucson; two brothers-in-law; three sisters-in- law; many aunts and uncles; best friends, Margaret Degolyer and Debbie Moore; one niece and 2 nephews. Memorial contribution may be named in Kims name to your local Humane Society. A private celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
