Proud father of three. Loving husband. Devoted grandpa. Honest brother. Kevin John Maguire, 48, passed away unexpectedly from us on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at 10:10 p.m. Kevin, leaves behind his beloved family; loving wife Angie; daughters, Valerie (James Persinger) and Kaylynn; son Edwin; sisters Debbie (Jeff) Mobley and Victoria Jensen; brother, Micky (Tammie) Mooney and only grandson, Jesse; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Kevin will always be remembered as an exceptional son-in-law to Jack and Val Becker; loyal friend to many and to all who ran across his path. Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin John and Rose Marie Maguire, a sister, Patricia Hockmoch and a brother, David C. Maguire. Kevin's final act was to be an organ and tissue donor. Funeral services will take place 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 19th at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with burial at the new Grant Center Cemetery. Pastor Art Kilpatrick will officiate. The family will gather today (Tuesday the 18th) at the funeral home to meet with friends and family from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Kevin's family.
