Services have been planned for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church of Big Rapids. The family will greet friends one hour prior to services at the Church. Burial will be at Pine Plains Cemetery in Big Rapids. Kevin James Fuller, age 16 of Big Rapids, passed away Thursday, January 27, 2011 due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born July 26, 1994 in Big Rapids where he had lived his entire life. Kevin was a Junior at the Morley-Stanwood High School where he was an outstanding and active student. Among the many activities, clubs and memberships Kevin enjoyed were; the National Honor Society, the Morley-Stanwood Band, he was captain of the Quiz Bowl, a member of the Drama Club, the Morley-Stanwood Track and Field team, an active 4H member, showing livestock for the past 4 years, he had acted with Stage M, he had worked at the Big Rapids McDonalds and Kevin's most recent accomplishment was his attendance at Ferris State University's Math and Science Center. Kevin leaves to mourn his community, his school, his friends and his family. They now, can only imagine, the love and accomplishments this remarkable young man's life would have brought to this world. He is survived by his mother, Norene Crawford Fuller of Big Rapids; his father, Dan Fuller Sr. of Big Rapids; brother, Dan Jr. (Kara) Fuller of Clarkston; sister, Renee (Scott) Lindsey of White Cloud; 3 nieces, Danica and Jorja Fuller, Samantha Lindsey; a nephew, Turner Lindsey; his maternal grandmother, Sandra Matrau of Newaygo; aunts and uncles, Delores (Lawrence) Ragnone of Swartz Creek, Bill (Shirley) Fuller of Big Rapids, Cheryl (Mark) Corey of Newaygo and many cousins. Kevin was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles Matrau; paternal grandparents, Margaret and Ray Fuller and his aunt, Mary Ann Fuller Marek. The family will greet friends on Sunday, January 30th at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral home in Big Rapids from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. that evening at the funeral home. The family will also greet friends on Monday at the church one hour prior to services from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. Memorial contributions will be accepted by Kevin's family to establish future scholarships in his memory.
