Kenneth C. Scriber, age 79, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 15, 2021 at his home in Barryton. He was born September 12, 1941 in Lansing, the son of Hazen and Geraldine (Riggle) Scriber. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army. Ken enjoyed fishing, square dancing, playing in a pool league, golf trips to Georgia, and driving sprint cars on dirt. He was full of life, with a wonderful sense of humor and always found himself to be the center of attention. Ken cherished the time he spent with family and friends. He will be missed by many. Ken is survived by his children, Teresa Rowley of Orleans, Darin (Renee) Scriber of Battle Creek, Danon Scriber of Fife Lake, Toni (Mike) Courter of Bellaire; sister, Yvonne Tischer of Perry, OH; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Marvin and sister, Marvel. Celebration of life will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Daggett Funeral in Barryton.
