Keith A. Sattler, age 74 of Diamond Lake/Barryton, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2014. He was born on January 26, 1940 to Ralph and Lola (Yagle) Sattler in Cedar, Michigan. Keith graduated from Honor Agricultural High School in 1957. He served his country for a short time in the United States Army. Keith married Barbara Baatz on December 16, 1961 in Honor and their journey began. He began his career as an electrical lineman which took the couple to several states across the country in the 5th wheel. They raised their family in the Traverse City area where Keith taught their children to water ski and he and Barb took them camping in the summers. Keith enjoyed the outdoors and never lacked for something to do. Keith was employed by the IBEW Local 876 and retired from Hydecker Wheatlake where he had been employed for numerous years. He enjoyed teaching others and sharing the knowledge he had. Keith enjoyed the simple things in life and was lovingly bullheaded. Keith is survived by his wife Barb of Barryton; three children, Keith Sattler Jr. of Middleville, Angela (Rick) Stover of Barryton, Scott Sattler of Traverse City; three grand children, Kayla Sattler, Logan and Samantha Stover; three sisters, Betty Lou Folkert, Sharon Dunn and Judith Tindall; one brother, Robert Sattler; and sisters-in-law, Shirley and Bonnie and numerous nieces and nephews. Keith was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ralph Jennings Sattler Jr. and Edward Sattler. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations can be made to the Susan P.
