Katie Lynn Vanderveen-Bacon (35 years old) passed away on Tuesday, January 12th, 2021 at Spectrum Health Butterworth surrounded by close family. Katie was the wife of Dustin Bacon. Born in Grand Rapids Michigan to Jon and Tammy, they lovingly placed Katie with her parents Robert and Beverly Vanderveen who raised her and her brother (Jeffery) in a loving and faithful home. Katie had many jobs over the years but her most recent and cherished position was a stay-at-home mother to their 4 children. Katie will be remembered for her caring and outgoing personality. She was always willing to help anyone in need. She is survived by her husband Dustin Bacon and children Jayla (11), Gabriel (10), Gage(7), and Elliotte (1), her parents, siblings, and large extended family.
