Kathleen April MacLaren Arnold Zemaitis, 78, passed away on December 19, 2025, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She was born on March 21, 1947, in Los Angelas, California, to Marcia Foster and Jeff MacLaren. Kathleen was formerly of Grand Rapids and most recently resided in Stanwood, Michigan.

Kathleen was a devoted wife to David Allen Zemaitis, a loving mother and grandmother, and a faithful member of the Church of God Ministries International Michigan Fellowship Group. Her life was deeply rooted in her faith, and she found strength, comfort, and purpose throuh her church and its community. She enjoyed sharing God's message with others and took great joy in crocheting, cooking, camping, and playing cards at family get-togethers, always cherishing time spent with loved ones.

Family was always at the center of Kathleen's life. She was known for her caring heart, steady presence, and gentle strength. Her devotion to her husband, her family, and her faith guided her life and touched the hearts of all who knew her.

Kathleen is survived by her husband, David Allen Zemaitis; her children, Holly Smith and her husband, Truman Smith, and Donald Arnold and his wife, Amber; her step-sons, Corey Zemaitis and Matt Zemaitis; her sister, Barbara Johnson; her sister in-law, Donna Holbrook; 11 grandchilden, 23 great grandchildren, along with extended family, who will forever carry her memory in their hearts.

She is preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Arnold; her brother, Kenneth Holbrook; and her sisiter, Rebecca Holbrook; and her parents.

A service to honor Kathleen's life will be held at a later date. The family is deeply grateful for the prayers, love, and support received during this difficult time.
