Kathleen Rose Denslow, 74, passed away on September 18, 2025. Kathie was born on June 27, 1951 to Kenneth and Donna (Simon) Helms. She met the love of her life Tommy Denslow, and they married August 31, 1968. For 57 years they built a life of love and comfort together.

Kathleen spent over 27 years being a dedicated Paraprofessional at both the Barryton and Mecosta Elementary Schools. She loved teaching all the little children. Her patience and caring nature shined brightly all her life. Kathie loved her family more than anything. You could always find her chasing her grandchildren around, and telling everyone "I love you to the moon and back".

Kathleen is survived by her loving husband Tommy; Daughters, Tina (Raymond) Spaugh, and Bonnie Denslow; Grandchildren, Dylan McClain, Brittani Denslow, Kylee (Kyle) McMahan, Kaitlyn Billings (William Gibbs), Hailey Lalonde, and Jakob Billings; Greatgrandchildren, Austen, Mari'ana, Mizayah, A'kylah, Mille, Medici, Bentley, Mekhi, Maeleea, and Leila; siblings Julie Perkins, Connie (Jeff) St. Peter, Robert (Kelly) Helms.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tony; sisters Elsie Haan, and Merry (Dayton) Parker; brother in law Robert Perkins.

A Memorial Service is planned for Friday, September 26, 2025 at Daggett Gilbert Funeral Homes, of Barryton. Family will greet friends and relatives starting at 11:00 AM, with the service beginning at 1:00 PM. A Luncheon will follow at Fork Township Community Center.
