Karen L. (Jolman) Barron, loving sister, mother and grandmother, age 65 of Barryton, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2010 in Grand Rapids. She was born on March 28, 1945 in Grand Rapids to Gerrit and Helen (Faber) Helmus. Karen is survived by: her children; Dawn (David) Tice of Barryton, Michael (Janet) Jolman of Barryton, a brother, Ron (Sherry) Helmus of Byron Center, a sister, Betty (Bob) Lang of Grandville, Grandchildren; Jessica Tice, Joshua Tice, Allen Jolman, James Jolman, Ryan Tice, Coby Tice and a great-grandson Dean Tice. She was preceded in death by her parents Gerrit and Helen. A memorial service will be held on 2:00 p.m., Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Faith United Methodist Church in Barryton with Pastor Joe Beavan officiating. Donations in Karen's name can be made to the American Cancer Society of the Meijer Heart Center.
