Judy A. Richardson, age 76 of Morley, passed away Friday October 19, 2018 following a battle with cancer. She was born January 3, 1942 in Deerfield Township of Mecosta County. Judy was raised by her loving parents, Bill and Emma Miles, in the same home where she was born.
She was a 1960 graduate of Morley Stanwood High School. Judy married Terry Richardson and they made their home in Cedar Springs. They lived there until their children were grown and then returned to the Morley area.
Judy had worked at Keeler Brass Company in Grand Rapids and Cedar Springs until her retirement.
Judy is survived by two children, Christine (Mark) McIntyre of Cedar Springs, Marvin (Darcy) Richardson of Scottsdale, AZ; three grandchildren, Jacob Richardson, Taylor Richardson, McKenna McIntyre; one great-granddaughter Paislee Richardson; a brother, Robert (Cathy) Miles of Morley; sister, Linda Wills of Belding; sister-in-law, Judy Miles of Coral; many nieces and nephews.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Willis Miles.
A funeral service to honor and celebrate Judys life will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 25, 2018 at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids with Pastor Gary Bondarenko officiating. The family will greet friends on Wednesday, October 24th from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Judy will be laid to rest at Higbee Cemetery near Morley.
