Joyce Mae Tice, age 61 of St. Charles passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2006 at home. She was born June 10, 1945 in Lakeview to Dale and Bonnie (Cornell) VanSyckle. On July 25, 1964 Joyce married Robert Tice. Joyce was a licensed cosmetologist and cosmetology instructor, with her husband Joyce owned the Wood Insurance Agency in Barryton from 1973 to 1989. Joyce and Robert currently owned and operated Michigan Harness Supply. Joyce is survived by her loving husband of 42 years Robert of St. Charles, mother Bonnie Eckstein of Barryton, brother James (Kathy) VanSyckle and their daughter Michelle Baxter of Barryton, sister-in-law Nancy (Paul) Martin and their children Kraig (Cathy) Martin and Duane (Tina) Martin of Barryton, several great nieces, nephews and dear friends. Joyce was preceded in death by her father and an infant daughter Tisha. Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 30th at the Barryton Church of Christ.
