Joyce J. McShane, age 77 of Canadian Lakes, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at her home, surrounded by her beloved family. She was born December 30, 1941 in Grand Rapids, the daughter of Carl and LaDonna (Schuiling) Still. Joyce worked in food service for many years, generally in the Grand Rapids area. She married Pat McShane and they made their home at Canadian Lakes where Joyce lived for over 20 years. She enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino, but Joyce especially loved watching WWE with her beloved grandson, Bryce. She is survived by three children Robert Carlile of Stanwood, James (Lynda Sallas) Spring of Stanwood, Kim Lewis of Grand Rapids; a grandson, Bryce Lewis of Grand Rapids; a brother Roger Thomas Still of Grand Rapids; several nieces and nephews. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Pat McShane on February 22, 2012, a sister Evelyn Christianson and a brother Glenn Still. A memorial gathering for friends and family will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday, November 22nd at the Morley American Legion.
