Joshua Paul Allen Jamieson, age 20 from Barryton went to be with his Savior on July 20, 2011. He was born in Decatur, Georgia on January 22, 1991. Josh is survived by his beloved parents Sandra Thatcher of Caro and Don (Michelle) Jamieson of Barryton. He graduated from Chippewa Hills High School in 2009 and was currently employed by Advanced Energy in Mississippi where he worked as a roughneck with his brother Allen. Josh was an avid video gamer, enjoyed fishing with his father, watching sports, snowboarding, swimming, loved music and hanging with his friends. He is also survived by his sisters Alexis Tyson of Shepherd and Courtney Thatcher of Barryton; his brother and best friend Allen Thatcher of Barryton; grandparents Don and Shirley Jamieson of Barryton; his nephew Colby Garchow and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and close friends who will remember his big heart, big smile and infectious laugh. Josh was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dr. John E. and Dorothy Brown, Uncle Paul Allen Jamieson and Aunt Brenda Brown. The family will greet friends at the Daggett Funeral Home in Barryton on Sunday, July 24th from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Monday, July 25, 2011at the Barryton Church of God with Pastor Tom Doherty officiating. He will be laid to rest at Flake Cemetery in Barryton. Memorial donations in Josh's name can be made to the choice of the donor.
