Josephine Perman, age 91, passed away Wednesday, July 18, 2007. She was born February 16, 1916 in Painesdale, MI to Mike and Louise (Milosovich) Yugovich. As a child, Josephine moved to Highland Park. She married Gerald L. Perman on April 16, 1938. Together they made their home in Detroit where Gerald was a Detroit Police officer and he retired as an inspector. Following retirement they moved to South Lyon and live at Colonial Acres. Gerald preceded Josephine in death on January 12, 1985 and ten years later she moved to Fenton. In recent years Josephine had moved north to live with her daughter Sandra at Canadian Lakes, MI. Surviving family members include; Sandra (Paul) Haldenwanger of Canadian Lakes, MI Richard (Merlyn) Perman of Indiana Grandchildren; Victor Perman of Florida, Karen Haldenwanger, Diane Huff and David Haldenwanger all of the Fenton area, great-grandchildren; Jason, Ryan, and Eric Thompson, Josh and Brooke Huff and one great-great-grandson; Tyler Thompson. Services will take place from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 20th at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions by made to the Alzheimer's Association or a Hospice of the donor's choice.
