Joseph J. "Joe" Wilmot, age 27 of Weidman, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017. He was born in Mt. Pleasant on January 6, 1990 to Danny and Betty (Myers) Wilmot. Joe graduated from Chippewa Hills High School in 2009. He enjoyed mudbogs, fishing, hunting and working on cars in the garage. Joe loved to pull practical jokes. He has been employed at Unified Brands in Weidman the last three years.

Joe will be deeply missed by: his parents, Danny and Betty of Weidman; sister Amy (John) Sims; brother, Jason (Virginia) Wilmot, twin brother, Brian (Ben) Wilmot; sister at heart, Roxann Whaley; maternal grandmother, Geraldine Myers; two nieces and a nephew, who he enjoyed playing with, Hannah Sims, and Maci and Noah Wilmot and many extended family members and friends.

Joe was preceded in death by: paternal grandparents, Joseph and Doris Wilmot; maternal grandfather, Bernard Myers; and best friend Jimmy Cool, who taught him what he knew about mechanics.
