John K. Inskeep, age 47 of Morley, passed away unexpectedly, Saturday, December 15, 2007 at his home. He was born January 19, 1960 in Bluffton, Indiana the son of John and Kathryn (Rupel) Inskeep. John made his home in the Morley area for over 30 years. He worked with his Step-father, Tom Gunn, at the family business "Gunn and Sons Excavating" in Morley. He attended the First Baptist Church in Morley. John loved the outdoors and shared that love with his children on fishing adventures and mushroom hunts. He liked to spend fun time tinkering on his cars and motor cycles. John is survived by his loving family of 2 children; Kathryn Inskeep of Grand Rapids and Joshua Inskeep of Roger Heights. John was preceded in death by 3 grandparents, his mother; Kathryn Gunn and an aunt; Joyce Hipsher. A memorial service for John will take place 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 28, 2007 at the First Baptist Church in Morley with Pastor Steve Finn officiating. The family will greet friends one hour prior to services at the church. Memorial contributions may be given to John's family or left at the Daggett-Gilbert Funeral Home in Big Rapids where arrangements were made.
