JoAnn Pennock, age 80, died Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at her home in Chippewa Lake surrounded by family. She was born September 5, 1941 in Augusta, the daughter of Floyd and Ella (Gasser) Langs. JoAnn enjoyed boating with her husband, playing the organ and listening to music. She retired from Walmart after working for 21 years. During retirement she enjoyed going to lunch with her friends every month. The thing that brought her the greatest joy and was most important to her was time with her family. She is survived by her children, Melinda (Chris Meek) Pennock, Greg (Traci Palmer) Pennock, Michael (Susan) Pennock; grandchildren, Gerick Pennock, Brittany Pennock, Marisa (Jacob) Johnston, Trace Pennock, Brookann (Trevor Tatro) Pennock; great-grandchildren, Cole Ryman Pennock, Cash Pennock; many nieces and nephews. JoAnn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gordon; and her parents. Memorial contributions may be made in JoAnns name to Hospice of Michigan.
